WordCamp Bucharest Starts in a Week

Woohoo, 😍 WordCamp Bucharest 2018 starts in just one week. We are so excited to finally meet everyone.

And, although we know you are already prepared, it’s never a bad idea to go through some of the most important things to remember.

The main conference day

WordCamp Bucharest kicks off with the main conference day on October 27, at 8:30 AM at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania Al. I. Cuza Amphitheatre ( fourth floor ).

The introduction is scheduled for 9:00 AM followed by the first talk of the day with Ivana Ćirković. The complete schedule can be found here.

There will two coffee breaks and one big lunch break where you’ll find delicious food for everyone’s taste.

There will be official WordCamp t-shirts, stickers, and more fun swag from our lovely sponsors.

The After Party

The After Party will take place on the same day October, 27th, starting with 9:30 PM at Beluga MC situated on Lipscani Street, No. 30-34. Check it on the map.

Two tokens will be available for all WordCamp attendees. Please bring your WordCamp badge – you will need it to be able to get the free drinks (the tokens can be used until 2 AM).

What you can get with the WordCamp tokens:

  • 1 long drink – 2 Tokens
  • 1 glass of wine – 2 Tokens
  • 1 beer – 1 Token
  • 1 bottle of water – 1 Token

Starting with 11:00 PM there will be a (bonus, yay!) live concert.

Contributor Day

This year, for Contributor Day, happening on October, 28th at The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania – Basarabia Hall we are excited to have Andrei Lupu leading a workshop about building Gutenberg blocks.
