Using the most popular freelancer methodology ( First come, first served ) I got a project ( keep in mind that this was 10 years ago ) about adjusting the search functionality of a website, so it will show the products in the search result page. So because of that gig, I become familiar with WordPress and since then I’m working with it on daily basis.

Why did you choose this topic for your presentation?

Because AJAX became a part of standard websites these days. Imagine having a need of reloading the whole page just because your visitor wanted to add a product to cart? Its simply doesn’t make sense to me.

What will we learn from your presentation?

This is funny, most people after the presentation look at me as I’m a freak! 🙂 I think its a good start for Woocommerce users to understand how the build in AJAX works with Woocommerce and how they can leverage that.

What do you like to do when you’re not WordPress-ing?

In my free time, I like to do a few things. After I got married I stopped playing World of Warcraft (WoW), because at that time I was a freelancer and as we all know freelancers barely have any free time. So it was simple if I play WoW then my wife would make me wash the dishes. It’s a good strategy to save an addict 🙂 These days I try to get as much free time as possible so I can play with my son and two dogs.

Few words for the WordPress Bucharest community

It will be a pleasure for me to give a presentation at the WordCamp in Bucharest and I hope you’ll enjoy my talk.

Want to get to meet Mitko and all the other speakers? Get your ticket now and join us for WordCamp Bucharest.

This is our first article in a series dedicated to our speakers.
